The Analytics Revolution is happening right now. And oddly enough, it isn’t being televised. Analytics is changing the way you shop, solve problems, and communicate. It’s changing your health, how much time you spend in a car, and how happy you are at work. If at any given moment you are what you know, and what you know is getting updated all the time, then so are you.
The Analytics Revolution Project is a work in progress. Indeed, I’m using analytics to figure out how to best communicate the philosophy of analytics! I find myself wedged between technologists, entrepreneurs, data scientists, web analysts, PR professionals, brand managers, doctors, and marketing scientists – working to reconcile languages and barriers – so that I can communicate effectively to the public.
A major part of the experiment revolves around imagery. The use of a philosoraptor, carrying an RPG, while riding a shark, is about as divergent and awesome as it gets. It’s getting tested, along with most of the content on this site. This site is the project.
